Classes! and Nutella involved

I had my favorite class today: English 202 Honors. Every major has a particular writing class they have to take while at Penn State. Engineers have to take an engineer writing class, Business majors (that’s me!) have to take a business writing class, and so forth. I found out the Honors English class counts as the English Business major’s class. I am taking it now and loving it!

My professor’s name is Lorena Waselinko. She is really smart and very kind. I have read one of the assigned books for the semester called “College: What It Is, Was, and Should Be” by Andrew Deblanco. It was such a great read that I lent it to William Kelly, a professor in the Theater Department who thought me Structural Analysis (story structure). He liked the last book I lent him, which was Contagious by Jonah Berger, a Marketing Professor at Wharton which I got to meet at the past October at the Shop.org Summit in Chicago. She complemented me today about I had interesting things to say in class; also, that I was really good about bringing people into discussion. It was very thoughtful of her to tell me that today, because it made my day. 🙂

I made Nutella Banana Chocolate Chip Brownies for work tomorrow. I hope I made enough, and if not, I will make more on Sunday to take Monday. I took this recipe http://www.instructables.com/id/Nutella-Brownies-Three-Ingredients/ and added coconut butter, bananas, and chocolate chips to the brownies. They smelled really good in the oven. I have cupcake paper so that the brownies could be divided up easier between everyone. I baked them for about 17 minutes at 350 F.

I’m excited for tomorrow because I will be meeting my ESL“English is my Second Language” learner tomorrow. I’m tutoring them for the first time tomorrow. I’m really excited to meet them!

Tomorrow is looking really good. I hope everyone had a good day, and I hope you have a good night!
