The Blue Loop, the mysterious mistress of constant walkers

 Isn’t this picture precious!

February is also African American History Month. I’ve read a very good quote of Martin Luther King Jr.. It goes as, “We must straighten our backs and work for our freedom. A man can’t ride you unless your back is bent.” I read this in a book called, Half the Sky by Nicholas D. Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn. I’ll let you know what I think of it once I’m done finish reading it.

I am thinking about Valentine’s Day, because of shopping with Diane Libert. Diane and I shopped at Ross. Diane bought some pretty tops for day-wear. The stores were filled with Valentine’s Day things: big over-sized teddy bears, roses, chocolates, and more. I love the color red so, seeing all this stuff makes me happy 🙂

Something very funny happened today! I had just parked my car at lot 84 (on University Drive on “Campus”). I was walking back to downtown when, suddenly!, the Blue Loop Bus was on the road, driving swiftly to the next stop.

Seeing the Blue Loop bus when you actually need it is like spotting a four-leaf clover in a very small time window. I was going to take advantage of this.

I ran like Tom Cruise in the Mission Impossible movies.

RUN FOREST RUN!!!!

I then got onto the bus and EVERYONE CHEERED!

A bunch of alumni, who had just watched the hockey game, where on the bus and so were some students.

One student said to me, “You’re going to be a legend.” I found this to be funny!

It was great. Today was a great day.
