I have been learning more about traveling Manhattan. I have been meeting some wonderful people!
The second night I was here I found myself hanging out at Joseph’s 27th birthday party at the Jane Street Hotel rooftop. Very cool.
Eve and Brooke Allen, have been taking care of me and been super helpful transitioning to the City. Their kindness is something I am extremely grateful for.
I got to have lunch today with my uncle, Mincho Correa, near Wall Street. I took the 2 express train down! We talked and hopefully I get to visit him next weekend out in Jersey.Â
Davis, Brooke and Eve’s son, has given me a lot of advice as well since I’ve been here. He’s age is 26 and about 4 years older than me.Â
I haven’t talked to Caroline in awhile. Diane messaged me today about the shirt I found for her while we shopped. Apparently, the people at the dry cleaners thought it was an awesome shirt 🙂
Polaris, my friend from China who also works in NYC, is in South Carolina right now because she couldn’t find place to stay before July 1 (when she moves into her new apartment). I can’t want till she gets back.Â
It was a very beautiful day in the city with little rain. The overcast made the weather cooler (aka nicer) then the blazing hot sun hitting the concrete jungle.
Just another day in NYC.
