The new word of the day is pastiche. It means:
1.a literary, musical, or artistic piece consisting wholly or chiefly of motifs or techniques borrowed from one or more sources.
2.an incongruous combination of materials, forms, motifs, etc., taken from different sources;hodgepodge. (information from dictionary.com)
I was watching Jim Nash on the show “Writer’s Room” with the creator of American Horror Story. The creator Ryan Murphy used it. Well, I was curious as to what it meant. The show, “Writer’s Room” is good, and finding out that Jim Nash wrote the script for Descendants was really cool. I am a “Community” fan myself. I was looking up Jim Nash when he won an award for it. I found a link that I found funny of Billy Crystal:
