Yes, there was rain and my shoes and I were ill prepared. But that’s ok! At least I am walking the streets of NYC.

My sister, Caroline, was texting me today. She is super excited to see me for Thanksgiving. I hope that I can make her trip eventual with catch-up session as well. We call each other a LOT, but I think we all know that isn’t the same as living in the same house.

It was nice talking about movies, as it reminded me of Logan McDonald, the aspiring director from my previous job.  But what was better, was what else Lisa said to me, (I’m paraphrasing), “AHHHH, you’re still sooooo young! You’ll figure it out.”

I find this city not only inspiring, but comforting. I am grateful for the people I come across paths with.
