When is the last time you did something nice for a stranger?
I drew a picture of it:

New York City has lots of strangers. I think that moving to this city has increased my ability to be kinder to strangers. I mean, when I first moved here, I knew not where things were! I asked a number of people for directions, and 99.99% everyone was really nice about.
Recently…
Helped with directions, hold doors, drop change, and make people smile 😉
Everyone New Yorker holds doors for each other! I remember holding doors for people with baby carriages and one time an air conditioner recently. Every New Yorker drops a dollar in a stranger’s cup. I sometimes like to make people in the elevator to crack a smile. I also try to compliment someone that does something for me. I know that it’s their job, but I still appreciate the help they give.
I rather be the person who makes someone’s day a little better.
